The physicsof stillness.

Perfect trim is not a talent. It is the sum of four engineering decisions — a wing section, a lift centroid, an attachment arc and a ballast rail. This page is the whiteboard.

CHORD 480MM — LAMINAR SECTIONRF-WELDED PERIMETER · ZERO STITCHESDUAL CHAMBER
01Wing design

A section, not
a sack.

A wing is a pressure vessel that must also behave hydrodynamically. The JAVA profile is a laminar lens section — thin at the perimeter, deepest exactly where lift belongs, so the inflated wing adds almost nothing to your frontal area.

Dual chambers mean a puncture is an inconvenience, not an emergency. The RF-welded perimeter means the seam is the material itself.

LIFT CENTROID ≤ 15MM FROM ROLL AXISSYMMETRIC LIFT ENVELOPE
02Lift distribution

Lift lives on
the centreline.

Distribute lift symmetrically along the diver's long axis and trim stops being a battle. The lift centroid of every JAVA wing sits within 15 millimetres of the diver's natural roll axis.

The result is a system with no preferred orientation — it holds whatever attitude you give it, including perfectly still.

CYLINDER ATTACHMENT TRACES AN ARC — NOT A LINEONE-PIECE LOOP · 100% METAL LOAD PATH
03Harness geometry

An arc,
not a line.

Cylinders lose two kilograms of gas over a dive, and their buoyancy shifts. JAVA attachment points trace an arc that rotates cylinders against the body as they lighten — instead of letting them swing away from it.

The harness itself is one continuous webbing loop. No plastic in the load path. Nothing to fatigue. Nothing to fail.

2KG20MM INCREMENTS · QUARTER-TURN LOCKBALLAST MOVES — THE DIVER DOESN'T
04Trim & ballast

Suspension setup,
underwater.

Once lift is symmetric and cylinders are arced, the last variable is ballast. The spine rail moves up to four kilograms in 20-millimetre increments and locks with a quarter turn.

Set it once in a pool, and the system holds your trim for every dive after. Our instructors call it suspension setup, because that is exactly what it is.

Materials

Certified,traceable, ours.

CORDURA® 1100D

Ballistic nylon shell

Batch-tested tensile strength, UV-stable coating, proven against a decade of cave abrasion.

Ti-6Al-4V

Grade-5 titanium hardware

A third the mass of stainless, twice the fatigue life, immune to salt water. Full mill traceability.

Welded PU

Bladder membrane

RF-welded polyurethane, fused at molecular level. The parent material tears before the joint does.

MIL-SPEC nylon

44 mm webbing

Military-specification weave with defined elongation under load — your harness fits the same at 40 metres as at the surface.

Engineering philosophy

“Every gram must justify itself.
Every seam must outlive the diver.
Everything else is decoration.
